The Juneau Icefield Research Program maintains 11 permanent field stations on the Juneau Icefield. These facilities include permanent buildings at scientifically strategic locations, cooking facilities, generators, bunkhouses, and snow machines. The facilities are primarily for use of the academic program focused on undergraduate education. However, we aim to educate our students in current research efforts in polar and glacier sciences. If you are a researcher or an educator interested in using JIRP facilities and collaborating with our academic program, we are excited to hear from you. Please contact us at office@juneauicefield.org
