JIRP at AGU
AGU 2025 is around the corner!
Many of our student, staff, and faculty alumni are attending AGU this year. We put together this page to connect those folks with each other, and with cool Cryo-related activities throughout the week in New Orleans.

AGU Schedule
If you are attending AGU 2025 and you are presenting at a poster and/or oral session, please fill out your presentation details below! Our staff will add you to the “JIRPers at AGU” Schedule.
Once you submit your details, check the schedule and add other alumni presentations to your conference itinerary. The JIRP alumni network is what makes this community special! We also added a few Cryosphere-related events, including a JIRP Info Session and Alumni Meetup.
JIRP Information Session
When: Thursday, December 18 at 9:45 - 10:45am
Where: Show Office D108 (NOLA CC)
What to expect: JIRP Associate Director of Academics Kiya Riverman and Academic Council Member Aaron Chesler will give some updates, demystify the application process, and answer lots of questions!
Who should attend: This session is open to all. We especially encourage folks who are interested in applying as students or teaching faculty to attend. Alumni are also welcome!
JIRP Alumni Gathering
When: Thursday, December 18 at 2:45 - 3:45pm
Where: Show Office G114 (NOLA CC)
What to expect: Are you a past student, staff, or faculty member of JIRP? Come hang out for a casual catch-up with fellow JIRP alumni! JIRP Academic Council members Kiya Riverman and Aaron Chesler will be there.
Who should attend: This session is open to all!
